जिस sentence से यह बोध होता है की कोई कार्य जो भूतकाल में शुरू होकर वर्तमान काल में भी जारी हो, तो ऐसे sentence में present perfect continuous Tense का प्रयोग किया जाता है| Example –
- He has been doing this work for two hours. – वह यह काम दो घंटे से कर रहा है।
- She has been singing a song since morning. – वह सुबह से गाना गा रही है।
- I have been reading in this school for 5 years. – मैं इस स्कूल में 5 साल से पढ़ रहा हूं।
Present Perfect Continuous Tense Structure
Affirmative
SUBJECT + HAVE / HAS + BEEN + V4 + OBJECT + TIME (SINCE / FOR)
Examples –
I have been living here for two years. | मै दो वर्षो से यहाँ रह रहा हूँ| |
My mother has been cooking food for two hours. | मेरी माँ दो घंटे से खाना पका रही है| |
The children have been making a noise since morning. | बच्चे सुबह से हो-हल्ला कर रहे है| |
We have been Learning English since 2019. | हमलोग 2019 से अंग्रेजी सिख रहे है| |
She has been waiting for you since last Sunday. | वह पिछले रविवार से आपका इंतजार कर रही है| |
Negative
SUBJECT + HAVE / HAS + NOT + BEEN + V4 + OBJECT + TIME (SINCE / FOR)
Examples –
I have been not living here for two years. | मै दो वर्षो से यहाँ नहीं रह रहा हूँ| |
My mother has not been cooking food for two hours. | मेरी माँ दो घंटे से खाना नहीं पका रही है| |
The children have not been making a noise since morning. | बच्चे सुबह से हो-हल्ला नहीं कर रहे है| |
We have not been Learning English since 2019. | हमलोग 2019 से अंग्रेजी नहीं सिख रहे है| |
She has not been waiting for you since last Sunday. | वह पिछले रविवार से आपका इंतजार नहीं कर रही है| |
Interrogative
HAVE / HAS + SUBJECT + BEEN + V4 + OBJECT + TIME (SINCE / FOR) + ?

Have I been living here for two years? | क्या मै दो वर्षो से यहाँ रह रहा हूँ? |
Has my mother been cooking food for two hours? | क्या मेरी माँ दो घंटे से खाना पका रही है? |
Have the children been making a noise since morning? | क्या बच्चे सुबह से हो-हल्ला कर रहे है? |

हमलोग सुबह से दौड़ रहे है| | We have been running since morning. |
वह 2018 से इस शहर में रह रहा है| | He has been living in this city since 2018. |
तुमलोग जनवरी से परीक्षा की तैयारी नहीं कर रहे हो| | You have not been preparing for the exam since January. |
आपका बच्चा एक घंटे से क्यों चिल्ला रहा है? | Why has your baby been screaming for an hour? |
तुम 2 सालो से क्या करने की कोशिस कर रहे हो? | What have you been trying to do for 2 years? |
